~~The Reluctant Fundamentalist~~

Yesterday was good!!!
I bunked the GYM (Rather we bunked it together)....

Left for home early....Karan made an awesome spanish omlette with coffee.
I have started reading "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" by Mohsin Ahmed.
The novel was selected for the 2007 Booker Prize (Thanks to My friend for the information).
It is an engaging book. It is totally a First person Narration (I have finished 50% of the book).

A Pakistani man called Changez sits down in a cafe in Lahore. He starts talking to an American about his career,Love, life.Basically it’s the ‘first-hand’ account of one man who traverses through the Dollar dream and learns to react to the surroundings in the possible ways.

Have to finish the rest of it...
I have to read the kite runner also by Khaled Hosseini
The Kite Runner is about the story of Amir, a well-to-do Pashtun boy from Kabul, who is haunted by the guilt of betraying his childhood friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara's servant. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, and the Taliban regime..
there is so much to read!

ciao..
